Conflict Patterns in Bazi Compatibility
Separate technical stem-branch contacts from observed conflict, use charts only to organize questions, and never infer blame, abuse, danger, or inevitability.
Overview
Conflict patterns in Bazi compatibility (衝突模式, Chōng Tū Mó Shì) must distinguish symbolic chart relations from repeated behavior observed in the relationship. Clashes, punishments, harms, controlling cycles, Companion competition, or Officer pressure are technical descriptions whose meaning depends on each natal chart, pillar position, season, structure, useful function, and timing. They do not diagnose temperament or cause arguments. A responsible review begins with the real pattern—trigger, behavior, impact, repair, frequency, power, and safety—then uses chart evidence only as a limited vocabulary for reflection. Bazi cannot assign blame, prove abuse, predict escalation, or determine whether a relationship should continue.

Define the real conflict pattern before using the chart
Describe what happened, what preceded it, each observable action, impact, repair attempt, recurrence, and unresolved need. Separate disagreement from intimidation, coercion, or violence.
Do not backfill behavior from a chart symbol. If there is no direct account or reliable record, state that the relationship pattern is unknown.

Audit technical contacts without moral labels
List the exact stems, branches, Ten Gods, palaces, owners, pillar positions, natal conditions, and timing involved. Use published rules for combinations, clashes, punishments, harms, and controls.
Show competing and absent contacts. A technical control is not controlling behavior, a clash is not an argument, and a punishment is not punishment between people.

Use symbolic findings only as reflection prompts
A chart theme may support questions about boundaries, pace, decision style, resource strain, or repair, but the answers must come from the people and evidence involved.
Compare agreements, communication practices, accessibility, stressors, and willingness to repair. Record counterexamples where the relationship behaves differently from the symbolic prompt.

Use direct safety pathways for coercion or abuse
Bazi cannot confirm or rule out coercive control, stalking, violence, self-harm risk, abuse, or criminal conduct. Never ask someone to remain in danger because a chart appears compatible.
Prioritize immediate safety, trusted support, documented behavior, and qualified local services. Relationship autonomy and legal rights are not conditional on chart interpretation.
