Compare two Day Branches without merging natal roles, distinguish direct contacts from wider chart interaction, and preserve real-world relationship boundaries.
Overview
Spouse-palace relationships in Bazi compatibility (合婚中的夫妻宮關係, Hé Hūn Zhōng De Fū Qī Gōng Guān Xì) compare the Day Branch of each natal chart while keeping each branch anchored to its own Day Master and chart. First identify both Day Branches, hidden stems, Month Commands, roots, natal contacts, and useful functions. Then record any disclosed branch relation between them and any separate contact from one chart to the other person’s Day Branch. A combination, clash, punishment, harm, break, shared branch, or absence of a named relation is structural evidence only. It does not reveal private feelings or prove attraction, conflict, fidelity, marriage, divorce, or duration.

Establish both spouse-palace baselines first
Record each Day Branch and its hidden stems, seasonal condition, roots, neighboring contacts, structure, and useful or adverse functions. The same branch can operate differently in two natal charts.
Do not remove the Day Branch from its own Day Master or reinterpret it as the other person. The palace is a chart position and evidence owner, not a portrait of a partner.

Name the exact cross-chart branch contact
Use one disclosed relation table to identify a shared branch, Six Harmony, clash, punishment, harm, break, half combination, or no named relation between the two Day Branches. State the participating branches and direction where relevant.
Contacts from other pillars to either Day Branch are separate evidence. Do not silently count every relation around the two charts as a spouse-palace match.

Interpret conditions, modifiers, and disagreement
A named contact may organize questions about linkage, change, friction, adjustment, or competing demands. Its meaning still depends on both natal baselines and the specific context being studied.
Show modifiers, counterevidence, input uncertainty, and disagreements with Day-Master, spouse-star, full-chart, or timing layers. No contact and a neutral contact are also valid findings.

Do not turn a palace contact into a relationship verdict
A combination does not prove love or fidelity, and a clash does not prove abuse, separation, or divorce. A chart cannot disclose consent, sexual compatibility, private conduct, or legal status.
Use direct communication, behavior, shared expectations, safety evidence, and qualified support for decisions. Spouse-palace comparison remains one symbolic layer, never a pass-fail gate.
