Ten-God Interaction between Two Charts
Trace Ten-God relations in both directions from each Day Master while preserving chart ownership, natal function, conditions, timing, and behavior-neutral language.
Overview
Ten-God interaction between two charts (兩人十神互動, Liǎng Rén Shí Shén Hù Dòng) is a directional comparison derived separately from each person’s Day Master. The same partner stem can be Wealth, Officer, Resource, Output, or Companion from one viewpoint and a different Ten God in reverse. Each label must remain tied to its observer, polarity, symbol, pillar, natal structure, useful or adverse function, and time layer. Ten Gods are technical relationships among the five elements and yin-yang polarity; they are not literal money, jobs, authority, children, parents, spouses, motives, or character. Cross-chart Ten Gods can organize questions about exchange and expectations, but cannot prove attraction, loyalty, exploitation, compatibility, safety, or an outcome.

Calculate Ten-God direction from each Day Master
Map every compared stem to the observing Day Master through element generation or control and yin-yang polarity. Repeat the calculation from the other Day Master instead of assuming symmetry.
State whether the observed symbol is revealed, hidden, rooted, combined, controlled, distant, or time-activated. Do not move the symbol into the observer’s natal chart.
- Publish both directional mappings.
- Keep symbol location and derivation traceable.
Read natal function before relational language
Determine how the relevant Ten-God family functions inside each complete chart through Month Command, structure, strength, circulation, useful functions, and constraints. Frequency alone does not establish importance.
A favorable natal function does not make the other person beneficial, and an adverse function does not make the person harmful. Cross-chart contact does not transfer or cure a Ten-God condition.
- Separate natal function from partner evaluation.
- Show supporting, adverse, neutral, and disputed evidence.
Use the labels to form questions, not identities
Technical directions may prompt discussion about resources, expression, rules, responsibility, exchange, competition, and support. Confirm the meaning through the people’s real roles and conduct.
Wealth is not income or a spouse, Officer is not a boss or coercion, Resource is not a parent, Output is not a child, and Companion is not loyalty or theft. Avoid gender and family assumptions.
- Translate symbols into open, testable questions.
- Keep identity and social roles self-defined.
Do not infer motive, morality, safety, or outcome
Ten-God interaction cannot reveal love, fidelity, manipulation, exploitation, competence, violence, abuse, criminality, marriage, wealth, or relationship duration.
Use direct communication, documented behavior, consent, safeguards, and qualified support for consequential decisions. A technical label never excuses conduct or assigns responsibility.
- No good-partner or bad-partner label.
- Direct evidence and safety override symbolic language.
