Mixed Spouse Stars
Derive each spouse-star category, disclose the role convention, and distinguish coexistence from conflict without inferring partners, fidelity, or marriage outcomes.
Overview
Mixed spouse stars (配偶星混雜, Pèi Ǒu Xīng Hùn Zá) describes a chart in which more than one Ten-God category adopted as a spouse role is present or effective under a stated traditional convention. It is not a separate star and does not count actual partners. Derive every candidate from the Day Master, separate Direct from Indirect Wealth or Direct Officer from Seven Killings, record revealment, hidden placement, roots, Month Command, structure, controls, and timing, then compare the Day-Branch spouse palace independently. Coexistence does not prove indecision, multiple relationships, infidelity, sexual behavior, divorce, or remarriage.
At a glance
- Prerequisite
- A disclosed traditional spouse-role convention
- Derivation
- Each Ten God is calculated from the Day Master
- Do not merge
- Direct and Indirect categories remain distinct
- Evidence
- Revealment, roots, Month Command, structure, controls, timing
- Separate layer
- The Day Branch remains the spouse palace
- Cannot prove
- Partner count, indecision, infidelity, divorce, remarriage
Derive every candidate before calling the configuration mixed
State whether the reading adopts Wealth, Officer-Killing, or another historically bounded spouse-role convention. Calculate each Ten God by element and polarity rather than by labels found in a relationship question.
Record whether each candidate is revealed, hidden, rooted, seasonally supported, controlled, combined, or only introduced by a dated cycle. Presence and effective function are separate findings.
- Publish the role convention and derivation rule.
- Keep Direct and Indirect categories identifiable.
Treat coexistence as functions, not a headcount
Several adopted role stars can describe different resource, authority, expectation, or pressure functions within one chart. They do not correspond one-to-one with people.
Compare which functions are supported, which compete, and which remain inactive. Do not turn the word mixed into emotional instability, moral weakness, or a hidden relationship history.
- Describe chart functions before relationship stories.
- Do not map one symbol to one person.
Cross-check the spouse palace, structure, and dated layers
Read the Day Branch, its hidden stems, branch relations, Month Command, structure, favorable and unfavorable functions, and counterevidence alongside the spouse-star layer.
If a luck pillar or annual influence adds a category, mark its exact duration. A temporary additional symbol does not rewrite the natal chart or schedule a relationship event.
- Keep star, palace, structure, and timing evidence separate.
- Expire temporary findings with the relevant cycle.
Do not infer partners, fidelity, or relationship outcomes
Mixed spouse stars cannot establish multiple partners, attraction, sexual orientation, infidelity, divorce, remarriage, abuse, or inability to commit. Those are unsupported and potentially harmful inferences.
Use direct communication, consent, observable conduct, shared expectations, and appropriate professional support for real decisions. Limit the chart to conditional reflection.
- Never convert the configuration into a partner count.
- Require direct evidence for real relationship conclusions.
