Limits of Reading Relationships from One Chart
Keep a single Bazi chart limited to its owner’s symbolic configuration and prohibit claims about a partner’s identity, thoughts, conduct, compatibility, or future.
Overview
Limits of reading relationships from one chart (單人命盤看感情的限制, Dān Rén Mìng Pán Kàn Gǎn Qíng De Xiàn Zhì) begin with a strict evidence boundary: one Bazi chart contains one person’s birth-derived symbols. It may organize traditional questions about that owner’s spouse palace, adopted spouse-role stars, expectations, pressures, and timing context. It does not contain another person’s birth data, consent, thoughts, identity, behavior, health, fidelity, finances, or legal status. Even in a two-chart comparison, compatibility requires a disclosed method and cannot prove love or outcomes. Use one-chart readings for conditional self-reflection, not partner diagnosis, surveillance, or decision substitution.
At a glance
- Evidence owner
- One chart represents only its birth-data subject
- Permitted scope
- Owner-side symbols, questions, timing context, uncertainty
- Missing evidence
- The other person’s data, consent, behavior, and circumstances
- Compatibility
- Requires two baselines and a disclosed comparison method
- Privacy rule
- Do not infer or expose another person’s sensitive traits
- Cannot establish
- Identity, thoughts, fidelity, abuse, future, or outcome
Anchor every statement to the chart owner
Verify whose birth data produced the chart and phrase findings as owner-side symbolic tendencies or questions. State the spouse-role convention and keep the Day Branch as the spouse-palace layer without turning it into a literal portrait.
A palace or Ten God is not another person’s record. It cannot supply their age, appearance, occupation, nationality, gender, personality, or intentions.
- Name the evidence owner in the analysis.
- Do not turn symbolic roles into a partner profile.
Make missing partner evidence explicit
One chart lacks the other person’s birth inputs, lived history, present circumstances, and consent. Those unknowns must remain unknown rather than being filled with archetypes.
Use direct conversation and observed behavior for trust, plans, boundaries, and safety. Do not read private thoughts, fidelity, sexuality, health, or finances from the owner’s chart.
- List material unknowns instead of inventing them.
- Direct evidence outranks symbolic inference.
Do not call a one-chart reading compatibility analysis
Compatibility begins with two independently verified natal baselines and a named comparison method. It still describes symbolic contacts rather than measuring love, morality, or relationship quality.
If only one chart is available, limit the page to the owner’s questions, timing context, and decision criteria. Do not manufacture the missing half from a desired partner description.
- Require two charts for a two-chart method.
- Never synthesize an absent partner chart.
Use the result for reflection, not diagnosis or control
A one-chart reading cannot prove compatibility, attraction, fidelity, abuse, marriage, divorce, reconciliation, or a relationship’s future. It must not support accusation, surveillance, discrimination, or pressure.
Frame useful output as questions the chart owner can verify through communication, consent, practical planning, and qualified support. Preserve uncertainty and the right not to act.
- Publish questions and limits, not verdicts.
- Protect autonomy, privacy, and consent.
