Fate-Star Compatibility
Declare the Shen Sha catalog and derivation anchors, keep duplicate stars from inflating confidence, and avoid soulmate, attraction, fidelity, or safety claims.
Overview
Fate-star compatibility (神煞合婚, Shén Shā Hé Hūn) compares selected Shen Sha or symbolic-star rules across two natal charts. Before interpretation, disclose the catalog, source tradition, derivation anchor, target branch or stem, and whether the rule is natal or cross-chart. Many stars share derivation components or duplicate the same underlying contact, so star counts are not independent evidence. Fate stars are supplementary labels and cannot replace Day Masters, spouse palaces, spouse stars, full stem-branch relations, structure, useful functions, timing, or observed behavior. They cannot identify a soulmate, prove attraction or fidelity, diagnose danger, or predict marriage outcomes.

Declare the fate-star catalog and derivation rule
Name every star used, its source convention, anchor, target, and lookup table. Separate a star calculated inside one natal chart from a rule that explicitly compares symbols across charts.
Do not combine catalogs without documenting conflicts. A familiar star name can have different anchors or variants, so the result must remain tied to the selected rule.

- Keep school and catalog differences visible.
Deduplicate shared anchors and underlying contacts
Group stars derived from the same natal anchor or the same target contact into one evidence family. Multiple labels on one branch do not create multiple independent confirmations.
Show absent, conflicting, and neutral findings. Do not select only attraction-themed stars or calculate a total from labels with different scopes.

Return every star to the complete compatibility analysis
Check each natal chart, Day Master, spouse palace, spouse-role star, actual stem-branch contacts, useful functions, and dated context independently. The star is an annotation, not the structure itself.
If primary layers and fate-star labels disagree, the disagreement must remain visible. Real behavior and direct evidence are not another symbolic layer and take priority for decisions.

Reject soulmate, fidelity, and danger claims
Fate stars cannot prove mutual attraction, sexuality, loyalty, infidelity, abuse, loneliness, marriage, divorce, fertility, or duration. A difficult label is not a diagnosis of either person.
Use consent, communication, conduct, records, and safety support for real judgments. The method should never shame, pressure, surveil, or exclude someone.
