Overview

Parent-child Bazi compatibility (親子關係合盤, Qīn Zǐ Guān Xì Hé Pán) compares two complete natal charts without turning a dependent child into a spouse-style match or a fixed personality profile. A declared method may review each Day Master, Month Command, structure, useful functions, parent-child Ten-God conventions, pillar contexts, stem-branch contacts, and bounded timing. The child’s developmental stage, disability, culture, caregiving needs, words, behavior, and safety remain direct evidence. A chart cannot assign blame, obedience, filial duty, custody, parenting fitness, developmental outcome, illness, or a child’s future character. Adult authority and safeguarding obligations cannot be delegated to astrology.

Build two natal baselines with an explicit family-role policy

Calculate both charts independently and state whether parent, child, Resource, Output, Officer, or other role labels follow a classical or role-neutral convention. Keep every symbol attached to its chart owner.

Do not apply romantic spouse matching, attraction rules, or adult partnership scoring to a parent-child relationship. Age and dependency change what questions are appropriate.

  • Declare the role mapping before comparison.
  • Exclude romantic and partner-scoring logic.

Read interaction contacts as questions about support

List exact stems, branches, pillars, Ten-God directions, natal conditions, and timing. A combination, clash, control, or support cycle remains a technical contact, not family conduct.

Use findings to ask about pace, communication, routines, learning, boundaries, and available support. Include counterexamples and periods where the contact is absent or neutral.

  • Trace contacts in both directions.
  • Convert symbols into support questions, not labels.

Center development, care needs, and observed behavior

Review the child’s age, communication, health and accessibility needs, school context, culture, stress, relationships, and expressed preferences directly. These cannot be inferred from a chart.

Adults must adapt expectations to capacity and protect privacy. Discipline, education, medical care, and contact decisions require evidence, legal responsibility, and appropriate professional guidance.

  • Use age-appropriate and consent-aware discussion.
  • Prioritize accessible care and direct observation.

Do not assign blame, duty, diagnosis, or custody

Bazi cannot prove that a child is difficult, ungrateful, gifted, dangerous, unhealthy, or destined to support a parent. It cannot judge parenting fitness, custody, abuse, or legal responsibility.

Use safeguarding procedures, qualified health or education support, legal advice, and the child’s direct welfare when needed. A compatibility reading never overrides adult duties or a child’s rights.

  • No destiny-based discipline or family blame.
  • Child welfare overrides symbolic interpretation.
