Compare two charts as a limited reflection tool while using shared values, conduct, reciprocity, boundaries, consent, and safety as the evidence for friendship quality.
Overview
Friendship Bazi compatibility (朋友關係合盤, Péng Yǒu Guān Xì Hé Pán) compares two natal charts without importing spouse, romance, or family-duty assumptions. A declared method may examine each chart’s Day Master, Month Command, structure, useful functions, Companion and other Ten-God directions, exact stem-branch contacts, and finite timing. These symbols can prompt questions about pace, exchange, decision style, boundaries, and changing availability, but they cannot reveal hidden motives or moral character. Friendship quality depends on reciprocal care, communication, consent, reliability, shared interests, conduct, repair, and safety. Bazi cannot certify trust, loyalty, exploitation, permanence, or the correct decision to continue or end a friendship.

Define the friendship question without importing other roles
Clarify whether the concern is communication, shared activity, trust, money, work overlap, distance, changing availability, or repair. Do not use spouse-star or romantic attraction rules by default.
Record the friendship’s history, context, power differences, and consent to use both people’s birth data. One chart cannot profile an absent friend.

Compare natal functions and exact contacts
Complete both natal analyses, then name cross-chart stems, branches, pillar locations, Ten-God directions, useful or adverse functions, and timing. Keep ownership and direction visible.
A combination does not guarantee affinity, a clash does not prove hostility, and Companion Stars do not establish loyalty or competition. Preserve neutral and contradictory findings.

Use observed reliability, respect, communication, shared enjoyment, boundaries, money practices, repair, and willingness to adapt as direct evidence. Ask rather than infer motives.
Compare chart prompts with counterexamples from the friendship. A useful reading should make discussion more specific, not replace the people’s own account.

Do not certify trust, loyalty, or permanence
Bazi cannot detect betrayal, exploitation, hidden intent, criminal conduct, abuse, or a friendship’s duration. It cannot require continued contact or prove that ending contact is wrong.
Use direct evidence, consent, personal boundaries, financial safeguards, and qualified support where safety or coercion is involved. Autonomy remains independent of a compatibility label.
