Indirect Wealth and Relationships
Derive Indirect Wealth from the Day Master, separate its resource function from historical spouse symbolism, and read relationships without stereotyping or prediction.
Overview
Indirect Wealth and relationships describes one Ten God function: the element controlled by the Day Master with the same polarity. Some traditional male-chart methods also include it within a Wealth-based spouse-star convention, but this does not make Indirect Wealth a literal partner, affair marker, or number of relationships. Calculate the role first, then examine visibility, hidden stems, roots, season, structure, competition, combinations, the Day Branch spouse palace, and dated timing. Keep resource flexibility and social exchange separate from facts about a person’s fidelity, attraction, identity, consent, or relationship outcome.

Derive Indirect Wealth before adding relationship language
Identify the Day Master, the phase it controls, and the same-polarity relation. Locate that role in visible stems and hidden stems without changing the deterministic Ten God calculation for a relationship question.
Record whether it is rooted, seasonally supported, combined, controlled, drained, or contested. Presence is not strength, and strength is not a relationship event.
- Show the phase and polarity rule.
- Separate visible, hidden, rooted, and effective.
Keep the historical spouse convention explicit and optional
In some traditional male-chart readings, Direct and Indirect Wealth are examined as spouse functions. This is a historical role table, not a rule that identifies partner gender, sexual orientation, or relationship form.
Indirect Wealth may also describe flexible resource handling or wider exchange networks. Do not collapse every appearance into romance, attraction, or a second partner.
- Name the adopted role table.
- Do not turn a resource function into a person.
Combine star, palace, structure, and dated context
Read the Wealth role beside the Day Branch spouse palace, month command, Output, Companion, Officer, combinations, clashes, and the wider structure. Agreement can focus a question; disagreement must remain visible.
Luck pillars and years can create bounded review periods, but they cannot schedule attraction, commitment, separation, or an affair. Compare symbolic prompts with actual communication and conduct.
- Keep natal and timing evidence separate.
- Require direct relationship evidence.
Reject morality and fidelity stereotypes
Indirect Wealth does not prove promiscuity, infidelity, opportunism, dishonesty, wealth, or an inability to commit. Those claims stereotype a person from one symbolic relation.
Relationship decisions require consent, observed behavior, shared expectations, and appropriate safety or professional support. Use Bazi only as a conditional reflection framework.
- No affair or partner-count claim.
- Do not rank relationship suitability from one Ten God.
