Overview

Purva Bhadrapada spans 20° Aquarius to 3°20′ Pisces, or 320°–333°20′ total sidereal longitude. Its first three padas are in Aquarius; its fourth is in Pisces. Jupiter is the Vimshottari lord of the entire sector.

Important distinction
Pada 4 alone lies in Pisces

When does Jupiter occupy two different roles?

Saturn rules the Aquarius portion and Jupiter the Pisces portion in the seven-planet sign scheme. The star’s Jupiter timing association applies to both. In the Pisces portion, Jupiter is therefore both sign ruler and period lord, but its actual placement remains another fact.

The name must retain Purva. Uttara Bhadrapada follows at 333°20′ and has Saturn as its Vimshottari lord. A report shortened to “Bhadrapada” is insufficient for a reproducible period setup.

The Pisces entrance is still Purva Bhadrapada

For a teaching Moon at 330° total longitude, the sign position is 0° Pisces. Its offset from the 320° start is 10°, the beginning of pada 4. It is not Uttara Bhadrapada merely because it has entered Pisces.

The remaining quarter gives 16 × 1/4 = 4 dasha years of Jupiter under the cited Moon-based rule. At 333°20′ the next star begins; the Pisces sign itself continues unchanged.

What can the label say about a person?

It cannot establish extremism, spirituality or the outcome of a life event. Those are interpretations that require explicit sources and careful context. A degree calculation is not evidence of a moral or psychological category.

For a practical check, a Purva Bhadrapada Moon reported in Pisces should be pada 4 in this framework. If another pada is shown, compare the raw coordinate and the selected system rather than adjusting the interpretation to fit.
