Krittika Nakshatra: Aries and Taurus Padas

Overview
Krittika spans 26°40′ Aries to 10° Taurus, or 26°40′–40° total sidereal longitude. Its first pada is in Aries and its other three are in Taurus. The Vimshottari lord is the Sun throughout the entire sector.

Is Krittika an Aries or Taurus star?
Both answers can be correct when tied to a degree. Krittika begins in the final 3°20′ of Aries and continues through the first 10° of Taurus. A page assigning all Krittika placements to one rashi loses this distinction.
The sign ruler changes from Mars in Aries to Venus in Taurus. Krittika’s Sun period association does not change with it. These are separate systems of classification applied to the same coordinate; neither makes the Sun the owner of Taurus.
What changes at exactly 0° Taurus?
Compare invented Moon longitudes 29°59′ and 30°00′. The first is Krittika pada 1 in Aries; the second is Krittika pada 2 at 0° Taurus. The nakshatra remains Krittika across the one-arcminute step.
At 30°00′, three quarters of Krittika remain. In the cited Moon-based timing method, 6 × 3/4 gives 4.5 dasha years of the Sun. This is a teaching calculation; a real end date needs its own timestamp and year-length convention.
Does the Sun lord make every Krittika placement solar?
A sector’s Vimshottari association is not a measurement of personality or a physical statement about sunlight. For a natal interpretation, identify the actual occupant and the Sun’s separate chart position before adding a traditional narrative.
At 40° total longitude, or 10° Taurus, Rohini begins. Do not use a short display such as “Taurus 10” without checking whether seconds were rounded. Krittika’s upper limit is excluded in this table.
