Vishakha Nakshatra: Libra to Scorpio

Overview
Vishakha extends from 20° Libra to 3°20′ Scorpio, or 200°–213°20′ total sidereal longitude. Its first three padas are in Libra; its fourth is in Scorpio. Jupiter is the Vimshottari lord across the entire sector.

Why a Vishakha Moon can have two sign rulers
The coordinate determines whether Venus-ruled Libra or Mars-ruled Scorpio contains the Moon. Vishakha alone does not settle that question. Jupiter’s period association is a third, separate relation and does not replace the relevant sign ruler.
When comparing two people with a Vishakha Moon, preserve this sign difference rather than collapsing them into a single character type. A matching nakshatra is one classification; it is not a complete compatibility method or an outcome guarantee.
Counting the fourth pada from Libra
Take a teaching Moon at 210° total longitude. It is 0° Scorpio, but its nakshatra offset is 10° from Vishakha’s 200° beginning. Thus it starts pada 4 rather than pada 1.
Only one quarter remains, so the cited Moon-based opening Jupiter balance is 16 × 1/4 = 4 dasha years. The star does not end until 213°20′, where Anuradha begins. Counting from the sign start would produce the wrong quarter.
What is the useful next check?
Retain the full degree when a report shows “Vishakha Scorpio.” The pada should then be 4 within this equal-sector scheme; padas 1–3 belong to Libra. That provides a simple consistency check independent of interpretive preference.
A deity, motivation or success claim needs its own source and context. This page’s evidence supports interval membership and a timing association, not a conclusion that someone must achieve, compete or behave in a particular way.
