Roots Affected by Punishment (根氣被刑) are roots located in branches participating in a recognized punishment configuration. The analysis must verify the exact pair, triad, or self-punishment and its active status. A punishment can mark contested branch integrity in a model, but it does not erase every hidden stem or prove injury, crime, conflict, or misfortune.

Validate the punishment family first

Compare other roots and seasonal support
