Preserve the twelve canonical branch assignments

Read the table by branch: 子癸; 丑己癸辛; 寅甲丙戊; 卯乙; 辰戊乙癸; 巳丙戊庚; 午丁己; 未己丁乙; 申庚壬戊; 酉辛; 戌戊辛丁; 亥壬甲.

Software, articles, and language versions should use the same membership and order. A mismatch changes Ten God and root calculations downstream.

  • Keep the sequence identical across locales.
  • Treat a table change as calculation-sensitive.

Read first position as primary qi, not a fixed score

The first listed stem is the branch’s primary qi. Additional stems are commonly discussed as middle or residual qi, though terminology and weighting details vary by method.

The table itself does not establish 60/30/10 or another universal percentage. A product using numerical weights must document its separate algorithm.

  • Separate membership, order, and weight.
  • Declare any quantitative model.

Apply the table through an explicit chain

For each natal branch, expand its stems, preserve polarity, derive Ten Gods from the Day Master, and then check whether any visible stem receives a root.

Next add month command, exposure, branch relations, combinations, clashes, and competing support. This sequence makes the result reproducible.

  • Expand before interpreting.
  • Keep branch location attached to every hidden stem.

Do not read the table as a result sheet

A listed stem is present as branch content, but may be weak, unexposed, redirected, or less relevant to the current question. Table presence does not prove transformation or an event.

Use the chart tool to verify the actual four branches. Do not infer health, finances, relationships, or legal outcomes from one lookup row.

  • Presence is not dominance.
  • Whole-chart evidence remains required.
