Roots Damaged by Clashes in Bazi (根被沖壞)

Evaluate whether a branch clash weakens a stem’s root through actual participants, season, competing relations, and remaining support instead of deleting the branch.

Overview

A root may be described as damaged when the supporting branch enters a qualifying clash and the interaction materially reduces its availability. A clash does not automatically erase the branch, hidden stems, or root. Confirm the clash pair, pillar locations, seasonal force, reinforcement, combinations, timing, and other roots before deciding whether support is disturbed, redirected, or still intact.

At a glance

Required relation
A valid opposing-branch clash pair
Root evidence
Named stem supported by one clashing branch
Damage factors
Season, force, location, repetition, and timing
Counterevidence
Other roots, support, combinations, or reinforcement
Possible result
Disturbed, redirected, weakened, or retained support
Limit
A clash never deletes chart data automatically

Confirm both the root and the clash

Name the visible stem, supporting hidden stem, supporting branch, and the opposing branch. Verify that the pair is one of the defined branch clashes.

A root cannot be called clashed merely because a different relation or distant phase is present. Keep the interaction type exact.

  • Show the complete participant chain.
  • Do not substitute harm, punishment, or control for clash.

Compare the force on both sides

Month Command, repetition, adjacent support, and moving pillars can change which branch has greater leverage. The supporting branch may be disturbed without losing every function.

A natal clash and a timing-triggered clash are different layers. State when each participant enters the chart.

  • Assess season and reinforcement.
  • Separate natal and moving participants.

Check what support remains

Search for other branches containing the same root, visible generators, and combinations that redirect either clashing branch.

Report whether support is reduced, unstable, relocated, or still substantial. Avoid the shortcut “clash equals gone.”

  • Inventory alternative roots.
  • Describe status rather than deletion.

Do not turn root damage into disaster prediction

A damaged root does not prove injury, family rupture, job loss, financial failure, or death. It is a conditional structural assessment.

Use real risk information and appropriate professionals for consequential decisions.

  • No literal harm from the word damage.
  • No event timing from one clash.
