Dispersion by Clash in Bazi (沖散)

Understand when a clash may weaken an existing combination or group, how residual force is reported, and why dispersion is never assumed from the word clash.

Overview

Dispersion by Clash (沖散) is a result assessment: a sufficiently supported clash weakens the continuity of an existing pair or branch group. It requires an actual target structure, an actual clash, and comparative force. The result may be full dispersion, partial damage, temporary interruption, redirection, or no meaningful change.

At a glance

Target
An identified combination, trine, meeting, or other continuous structure
Disruptor
An actual Six-Clash branch with sufficient access
Comparison
Support, season, roots, proximity, repetition, and timing
Possible result
Intact, weakened, redirected, temporarily interrupted, or dispersed
Residual evidence
Original members remain recorded even after damage
Boundary
Dispersion does not prove a breakup or loss

Identify the structure said to disperse

Name the exact combination or group and its current membership and force.

Without an established target, 沖散 is only a slogan rather than a reproducible result.

  • Publish target structure.
  • Record its baseline strength.

Compare disruptor and target force

Assess the clash branch’s season, roots, proximity, support, and repetition against the target group.

A weak remote clash should not automatically erase a complete, rooted, seasonally supported assembly.

  • Measure both structures.
  • Reject automatic cancellation.

Report partial and temporary outcomes

Many charts retain damaged combination force rather than moving from present to absent.

If timing supplies the clash, record whether the target recovers after the period ends.

  • Keep residual strength visible.
  • Give timed damage an expiry.

Do not literalize structural separation

沖散 cannot alone prove divorce, job loss, migration, bankruptcy, miscarriage, or death.

Describe weakened symbolic continuity and require independent evidence for real-world claims.

  • No breakup guarantee.
  • No high-stakes prediction.
