Editorially reviewed:

Overview

Si–Wu–Wei is the complete summer Directional Meeting associated with Fire. Membership requires all three actual branches; effective Fire depends on season, temperature, exposed Fire, roots, and the chart’s ability to carry heat. Earth production, Water counterforce, clashes, and competing groups must be assessed rather than hidden by the group label.

Confirm the complete southern sequence

Record Si, Wu, and Wei with their pillars and chart layers.

Two members may indicate seasonal continuity, but they do not constitute the complete Directional Meeting.

  • Require all three branches.
  • Do not substitute repeated members.

Assess heat, roots, and carrying capacity

Summer command, Bing or Ding exposure, and Fire roots strengthen the assembly.

Excessive dryness can exhaust useful resources, while strong Water or damaged roots can limit effective Fire.

  • Measure usable Fire.
  • Separate strength from usefulness.

Account for production and branch conflict

Fire may produce Earth through Wei without converting every branch into one undifferentiated phase.

Si–Hai, Wu–Zi, and Wei–Chou clashes and other trines or harmonies remain part of the relation graph.

  • Preserve hidden stems.
  • Resolve overlaps explicitly.

Do not turn heat into a life verdict

巳午未火局 cannot alone prove fame, passion, conflict, cardiovascular illness, or a Fire-related event.

Judge roles, balance, timing, and external facts before making any practical statement.

  • No medical inference.
  • No success or conflict promise.
