Overview

Shen–Zi–Chen forms the canonical Water Three-Harmony group: Shen is the birth stage, Zi the cardinal center, and Chen the storage stage. All three distinct branches establish the full trine. Month Command, Water roots or exposure, climate, proximity, and clashes decide whether the group is active, damaged, or capable of stronger Water reorganization.

Require all three distinct members

Confirm Shen, Zi, and Chen without using one duplicated branch twice.

Record their pillars and whether a timing branch supplies any missing member.

  • Use distinct nodes.
  • Separate natal and timing completion.

Assess Water command and continuity

Winter, Water roots, exposure, and connected hidden stems can strengthen the group.

Dryness, strong Earth, weak Water evidence, or distance may limit reorganization.

  • Check season and Water roots.
  • Publish counterforce.

Resolve clashes and competing groups

Shen may clash Yin, Zi may clash Wu, and Chen may clash Xu; each member also enters other groups.

Show whether damage is partial, absorbed, or strong enough to break the trine.

  • Map every hit.
  • Keep residual status.

Do not literalize Water outcomes

申子辰水局 cannot alone prove intelligence, travel, money flow, kidney disease, danger, or success.

Use the group as structural evidence within the complete chart.

  • No phase stereotype.
  • No medical or event forecast.
