Clashed and Broken Six-Harmony Pairs (六合受沖與破合)

Understand how a clash can damage, loosen, or break a Six-Harmony pair, why strong harmony may absorb part of the clash, and how residual effects are reported.

Overview

A clash touching one member of a Six-Harmony pair can reduce, redirect, or break the harmony, but cancellation is not automatic. Compare the original force of both relations, seasonal support, roots, proximity, and other groups. A strong harmony may absorb some clash pressure; a strong clash may leave the harmony damaged or ineffective, with residual force still recorded.

At a glance

Trigger
A clash strikes one member of an active 六合 pair
Possible states
Active, damaged, absorbed clash, or broken harmony
Evidence
Relative force, season, roots, proximity, and overlap
Boundary
Neither clash nor harmony disappears by slogan
Resolution
Compare exact participants and the evidence supporting each relation
Timing
A transit can damage or restore the pair only for its active period

Map both relations before resolving them

Identify the harmony pair and the exact clash pair sharing a branch.

Record chart layers and pillar positions so natal and timing interactions are not conflated.

  • Name all participants.
  • Separate the layers.

Compare force rather than using an absolute rule

Season, roots, distance, and group support determine the available force on each side.

A strong harmony can restrain a weaker clash, while a strong clash can materially damage the pair.

  • Weigh both structures.
  • Reject automatic cancellation.

Publish residual states

Damage can leave harmony and clash both partly active instead of producing a clean winner.

State whether contact remains, which pathway weakened, and what evidence would change the result.

  • Keep residual force visible.
  • Explain the changed function.

Do not translate break into relationship loss

破合 does not prove breakup, divorce, betrayal, contract failure, accident, or relocation.

Timing activation must be dated and compared with actual evidence.

  • No literal rupture claim.
  • No event certainty.
