Six-Clash Pairs and Reading Order (六沖配對與判讀順序)
Use the complete Six-Clash table and a reproducible order for position, season, roots, combinations, timing, and affected functions.
Overview
The Six Clashes are Zi–Wu, Chou–Wei, Yin–Shen, Mao–You, Chen–Xu, and Si–Hai. Detection is exact, but effect is conditional. A responsible reading identifies the pair and layer, compares force and position, resolves concurrent relations, and only then discusses which chart function is pressured, moved, or dispersed.

Confirm one of the six fixed pairs
Do not infer a clash from general Five-Phase control or emotional contrast.
Record both branches, their pillars, and whether the contact is natal or time-supplied.
- Use the canonical table.
- Name the evaluated layer.
Compare both sides before assigning effect
Seasonal command, roots, support, and repetition show which side has more usable force.
Position and proximity indicate what symbolic area is contacted, not what event must occur.
- Measure both branches.
- Keep position descriptive.
Resolve concurrent relations and timing
A branch may also combine, punish, harm, or join a larger group.
State whether those relations bind, redirect, amplify, or leave the clash unresolved, and date temporary activation.
- Do not erase overlapping edges.
- Give timed contacts an expiry.
Translate structure without catastrophe
Clash can correspond to movement, pressure, reorganization, separation, or no salient event depending on context.
It cannot alone predict accident, divorce, illness, job loss, or death.
- Offer conditional interpretations.
- Exclude high-stakes certainty.
