Heavenly-Stem support (天干生扶) includes generation from Resource elements and same-element assistance from Companion forces. Visible support can improve the Day Master’s continuity and network, but its value depends on roots, season, distance, combinations, control, and whether the chart already has excessive support. Generation and assistance are separate channels and should not be collapsed into one count.

Separate generation from assistance
