Overview

Combination transformation (合化) can redirect the effective elemental network when a declared stem or branch combination meets its transformation conditions. The relationship label alone is insufficient: season, resulting element, roots, exposure, interference, and school rules must be checked. When transformation is accepted, the strength audit must be recalculated without simultaneously counting the same sources as fully unchanged.

At a glance

Trigger
A recognized stem or branch combination
Required
Declared transformation conditions
Key checks
Season, roots, exposure, and interference
Effect
Redirects the elemental support-control network
Accounting
Recalculate without double-counting sources
Limit
Combination is not automatically transformation

Separate combination from transformation

First detect the recognized relation. Then apply the school’s transformation gate rather than treating the relation name as proof of changed element.

A combination may bind, connect, distract, or remain nominal without full transformation. Preserve that intermediate status.

  • Record relation and transformation separately.
  • Do not infer 化 from 合 alone.

Check the resulting element’s support

Inspect Month Command, roots, visible support, competing elements, and clashes. A resulting element with no seasonal or structural path may fail the declared gate.

Because lineages differ, publish which conditions are necessary, supportive, or disqualifying.

  • Name the resulting element.
  • Version the transformation policy.

Rebuild the balance after accepted transformation

Determine how the transformed route relates to the Day Master: it may generate, assist, drain, or control. Recompute dependent Ten God and strength explanations carefully.

Avoid counting both the full original forces and the full transformed force unless the method explicitly models partial transformation.

  • Recalculate downstream relations.
  • Prevent transformation double-counting.

Keep transformation a technical judgment

合化 does not prove personal transformation, marriage, reconciliation, career change, or a guaranteed event.

Event claims require timing, relevant chart layers, and real-world evidence.

  • No literal life transformation claim.
  • Use conditional event language.
