Annual Fu Yin
Detect exact stem-branch repetition between named annual and chart layers, then interpret emphasis without assuming recurrence or misfortune.
Overview
Annual Fu Yin is an exact repetition of both heavenly stem and earthly branch between the annual Jiazi and a named natal or Luck-Pillar Jiazi. A repeated branch alone is not full-pillar Fu Yin. The output must identify both layers, dates, and repeated pillar, then inspect chart role and competing relations. Fu Yin can emphasize an existing pathway, but it does not guarantee repetition of past events or a difficult year.

Require the same complete Jiazi
Compare the annual stem and branch with the complete pillar in the declared natal or Luck-Pillar layer.
Both characters must match; otherwise describe the actual partial repetition rather than upgrading it to Fu Yin.

Identify which pillar is repeated
Repetition of the Year, Month, Day, Hour, or active Luck Pillar contacts different natal functions and time layers.
Display the annual interval and handle any Luck-Pillar transition within the year before interpretation.

Read emphasis through the whole chart
Inspect roots, Ten Gods, palace role, combinations, clashes, and useful or unfavorable functions around the repeated pillar.
Repetition can strengthen visibility or return attention to an existing mechanism, while competing relations may redirect it.

Fu Yin does not replay a life event
It cannot prove recurrence of illness, loss, separation, litigation, pregnancy, employment, or any event from a previous matching year.
