Overview
Punishing Tai Sui means that the annual branch and the selected natal branch satisfy a punishment rule under a declared Earthly-Branch system. Punishment tables and the treatment of self-punishment are not identical across schools, so the rule set must be visible. Name every participant, distinguish a detected relation from a completed configuration, and evaluate the entire chart. The word punishment is a traditional label, not evidence of penalty or harm.
