Daily Influence in Bazi

Derive the daily Jiazi with a declared timezone and day-boundary policy, then use it as a short layer rather than a daily outcome forecast.

Overview

A Daily Influence is the stem-branch assigned to a civil instant under a declared sexagenary-day and day-boundary policy. Accurate calculation requires a date, timezone, historical offset, and explicit treatment of the Zi-hour boundary where schools differ. The day can be compared with the natal chart and longer timing layers, but it does not change the natal Day Pillar or promise a favorable or unfavorable event.

Use a tested sexagenary-day calculation

Convert the requested instant with the correct timezone and historical offset before deriving the daily Jiazi.

Publish whether the day changes at civil midnight or under a selected Zi-hour rule, because the answer can differ near the boundary.

  • Do not calculate from a date string alone.
  • Version the day-boundary policy.

Do not replace the natal Day Pillar

The natal Day Pillar and Day Master stay fixed; the Daily Influence is a temporary external layer.

Keep the daily stem, branch, Ten-God role, hidden stems, and relations tagged with their date and source.

  • Preserve the natal Day Master.
  • Keep timed symbols separate.

Read the day only after the longer context

Establish the natal baseline, active Luck Pillar, annual influence, and relevant monthly layer before inspecting the day.

A daily contact may repeat or complete an existing mechanism, but one pair is insufficient without conditions and counterevidence.

  • Follow longest-to-shortest order.
  • Name the completed evidence chain.

A daily Jiazi is not an outcome calendar

It cannot prove a day is safe, dangerous, profitable, fertile, medically suitable, or legally favorable.

Use evidence-based scheduling and professional guidance for health, finance, travel, contracts, and other consequential decisions.

  • Avoid universal auspicious-day labels.
  • Do not override real constraints.
