Overview

Blind School of Bazi (盲派, Máng Pài) is an umbrella label for several teaching lineages, oral methods, mnemonic systems, and modern publications rather than one standardized canon. Different teachers may emphasize palace positions, stem-branch actions, guest-host relations, body-use distinctions, images, fate stars, or rapid event reading, and the same term can carry different rules. A reproducible explanation therefore names the teacher or text, edition or lesson, required inputs, rule direction, exceptions, and competing interpretations. The history of visually impaired practitioners should be treated respectfully, without turning disability into a claim of secret or supernatural accuracy. Direct-reading language remains a traditional interpretive technique and cannot establish a person’s past, health, conduct, family, wealth, or future as fact.

Identify the lineage before naming a rule

The label covers heterogeneous oral and written systems. A rule attributed to one teacher may be rejected, renamed, or applied in another direction by a different lineage.

Name the source, transmission context, publication or lesson, and version. If provenance is unavailable, label the rule as unattributed instead of presenting it as school-wide consensus.

  • Do not treat the umbrella label as one canon.
  • Separate named lineage evidence from unattributed sayings.

Publish the complete reasoning path

Record the calendar inputs, palace or pillar reference, guest-host direction, stem-branch action, image association, timing trigger, and every exception needed to reproduce the judgment.

A correct-looking anecdote is not a rule specification. Test the same rule on counterexamples and disclose when retrospective information influenced the reading.

  • Show intermediate symbols and rule direction.
  • Use counterexamples rather than success stories alone.

Compare claims without inventing a unified school

When two lineages differ, compare their reference point, vocabulary, priority, timing logic, and invalidating conditions. Preserve the disagreement when no shared rule resolves it.

Do not average incompatible judgments or use the most dramatic result. A comparative page should state which method produced each conclusion.

  • Keep lineage outputs separately attributable.
  • Do not manufacture consensus or a combined score.

Reject mystique, stigma, and factual overclaim

Visual impairment is a human condition and historical context, not proof of heightened divination. Avoid romanticizing, stereotyping, or using disability as a marketing credential.

Rapid or direct reading cannot verify private history, illness, crime, fidelity, fertility, death, or future events. Consequential claims require direct evidence and qualified processes.

  • Use respectful historical language.
  • No diagnosis, accusation, or deterministic event claim.
