Case Method for Six Earthly-Branch Combinations
Analyze Six Harmony branch pairs through layer, position, strength, overlapping relations, transformation, timing, and non-literal boundaries.
Overview
A Six Harmony case identifies one of the six fixed Earthly-Branch pairs and keeps the branches’ hidden stems, roots, pillar positions, and chart layers visible. It evaluates proximity, seasonal support, clashes, punishments, harms, breaks, triple formations, and whether the pair only relates or actually transforms. Overlapping relations can coexist or redirect one another. Six Harmony does not prove affection, compatibility, marriage, peace, recovery, or a favourable result.
At a glance
- Fixed pairs
- Zi-Chou, Yin-Hai, Mao-Xu, Chen-You, Si-Shen, and Wu-Wei
- Retained evidence
- Hidden stems, roots, pillar positions, and chart layers
- Overlaps
- Clash, punishment, harm, break, triple combination, or meeting frame
- Possible states
- Relation, binding, redirection, transformation, or disruption
- Timing
- A timed branch may complete or challenge a natal relation temporarily
- Not implied
- Affection, compatibility, marriage, peace, recovery, or luck
Confirm the fixed branch pair
Identify the canonical pair, pillar positions, chart layers, hidden stems, roots, season, and proximity.
Do not infer a Six Harmony from similar elements or from a branch that is only implied by another formation.
- Use the fixed pair table.
- Require real participants.
Keep overlapping relations on one graph
Record clashes, punishments, harms, breaks, triple formations, and meetings that share either branch, then compare their conditions and strength.
Do not delete one relation automatically because another is named harmonious. Coexistence, redirection, and partial weakening are valid outcomes.
- Preserve all valid edges.
- Resolve priority with evidence.
Test transformation independently
Assess the conventional target element, seasonal support, roots, continuity, original branch force, and obstruction.
A functioning harmony can remain a relation without transforming. Keep hidden-stem and original-root evidence unless the threshold passes.
- Separate harmony from transformation.
- Retain original branch functions.
Do not turn harmony into relationship fact
Six Harmony does not prove love, compatibility, consent, marriage, peace, reconciliation, teamwork, or a favourable event.
Use communication, conduct, records, and consent for relationship or legal judgements.
- No compatibility guarantee.
- No consent inference.
