Case Method for Five Heavenly-Stem Combinations
Analyze the five stem combinations through fixed pairs, chart layer, proximity, competition, binding, transformation, roots, and timing.
Overview
A five-combination case first identifies one of the five fixed Heavenly-Stem pairs and records chart layer, proximity, roots, strength, and competing partners. It then distinguishes simple contact, binding, redirection, and successful transformation into the conventional target element. Each state has different evidence and should not be collapsed into “combined.” A stem combination does not prove romance, agreement, loyalty, marriage, reconciliation, or a favourable event.
At a glance
- Fixed pairs
- Jia-Ji, Yi-Geng, Bing-Xin, Ding-Ren, and Wu-Gui
- Context
- Layer, position, proximity, roots, strength, and competition
- Possible states
- Contact, binding, redirection, transformation, or ineffective
- Transformation
- Requires target support, continuity, and absence of decisive obstruction
- Timing
- Later stems may complete, compete with, or disrupt a natal pair
- Not implied
- Romance, agreement, loyalty, marriage, reconciliation, or luck
Detect the exact pair and layer
Identify the fixed pair, whether each stem is natal or timed, its pillar position, roots, strength, proximity, and any competing partner.
Do not create nonstandard pairs from element attraction. Keep repeated and cross-layer contacts separately timestamped.
- Use the canonical pair table.
- Label every participant’s layer.
Classify binding and transformation separately
Assess whether the pair merely contacts, binds one or both stems, redirects function, or meets the target-element transformation conditions.
Retain original Ten-God and root evidence unless the adopted method’s transformation threshold is fully met.
- Publish the state decision.
- Do not erase original functions early.
Resolve competition and damage
Compare multiple partners, distance, roots, seasonal support, clashes, and target-element continuity to determine partial or dominant pathways.
Do not apply a slogan such as jealousy or distant combination as a literal relationship event.
- Map all competing edges.
- Keep partial outcomes available.
Do not translate combination into agreement
Stem combination is a symbolic relation, not proof of attraction, consent, fidelity, contract, marriage, reconciliation, or favourable cooperation.
Relationship and legal conclusions require direct evidence from the people and documents involved.
- No relationship guarantee.
- No consent or contract inference.
