Case Method for Family-Role Analysis in Bazi
Disclose historical family-star mappings, compare star and palace layers, protect third-party privacy, and avoid claims about kinship or conduct.
Overview
A family-role case begins by stating the historical Ten-God and pillar-palace mappings being used, including their gendered and lineage assumptions. It separates the chart owner’s symbols from actual relatives, modern family structures, adoption, stepfamilies, chosen family, and unknown parentage. Star and palace evidence may be compared, but neither reveals another person’s private facts. Bazi does not establish biological kinship, fertility, death, illness, estrangement, abuse, loyalty, inheritance, or a relative’s character.

Publish the family mapping and its assumptions
State the Day-Master reference, Ten-God correspondence, pillar-palace rule, and any traditional gender or lineage convention.
Offer modern alternatives where possible and do not present patriarchal mappings as biological facts or universal family roles.
- Name the mapping source.
- Label historical assumptions.
Compare star and palace evidence without forcing agreement
Record where the relevant symbols appear, their strength, relations, structure function, and timing contacts.
If star and palace layers differ, preserve the disagreement. Do not average them into a confident story about a real relative.
- Keep layers separate.
- Allow unresolved readings.
Minimize third-party information
Use only information needed for the chart owner’s question and remove names, exact dates, locations, and identifying event details about relatives.
Do not infer or publish a relative’s health, conduct, parentage, sexuality, finances, or legal situation without a lawful basis and consent.
- Protect absent people.
- Collect the minimum data.
Do not substitute symbols for family facts
Bazi does not establish kinship, fertility, pregnancy, illness, death, estrangement, abuse, loyalty, inheritance, or character.
Use records, communication, safeguarding, medical care, and legal processes for consequential questions.
- Never excuse abuse or coercion.
- Do not predict family harm.
