How Much Weight Should Fate Stars Receive?

Use Fate Stars as traceable secondary markers, declare the selected rule set, and avoid universal percentages or one-star conclusions in Bazi.

Overview

There is no source-independent percentage that tells every reader how much weight Fate Stars should receive. Fate Stars are named markers derived from specific stems, branches, pillars, or timing references, and different texts include different lists and rules. A robust workflow first verifies the four pillars and main structural analysis, then calculates only the declared marker set, records reference direction and location, and checks whether chart and timing evidence independently support the proposed theme. Weight should be described as primary, supporting, neutral, or contradicted within a stated method—not as an opaque universal score. A marker never proves character, danger, illness, marriage, crime, or an event.

Begin with the main chart rather than a star count

Verify calendar data, four pillars, Month Command, roots, Ten Gods, structure, and stem-branch relations before using auxiliary markers. This prevents a vivid name from replacing the chart.

If a school explicitly gives a marker primary status, document that exception and its source. Do not apply it silently to every reading.

  • Establish the structural baseline first.
  • Disclose any school-specific exception.

Make every marker reproducible

Publish the exact rule, reference stem or branch, lookup direction, resulting marker, pillar location, and whether it belongs to the natal chart or a timing layer.

Duplicate or correlated markers should not be counted as separate confirmations without justification. Record absent, invalid, or disputed markers as well.

  • Expose the calculation path.
  • Do not inflate evidence by repetition.

Use an evidence grade instead of false precision

Describe a marker as central within a declared method, supporting, neutral, contradicted, or not applicable. Tie the grade to independent structural evidence and the scope of the question.

A numerical score is acceptable only as a documented product convention, not as a classical unit or probability. Show its inputs and never imply empirical calibration without validation.

  • Prefer qualitative, traceable weight.
  • Label product scores as policy.

Keep evocative names from becoming verdicts

Names such as nobleman, peach blossom, blade, robbery, or disaster are traditional labels. They do not prove conduct, safety, health, relationships, morality, or future events.

Use direct evidence for screening and consequential decisions. Fate Stars should generate bounded study questions, not accusations, diagnoses, or guarantees.

  • No literal reading of star names.
  • No screening or high-risk decision.
