Editorially reviewed:

Overview

A Six Harms case first confirms one of the six fixed Earthly-Branch pairs and records position, chart layer, season, roots, hidden stems, and strength. It then evaluates whether the relation actually obstructs a function and how harmonies, clashes, punishments, breaks, and triple frames alter the pathway. Harm is normally supporting evidence, not a standalone verdict. It does not prove betrayal, enemies, abuse, illness, injury, loss, secret conduct, or relationship failure.

Confirm the fixed harm pair

Identify the canonical pair, pillar positions, chart layers, season, roots, hidden stems, and force of both participants.

Do not infer harm from a difficult element relation or from a missing branch.

  • Use the fixed pair table.
  • Require actual participants.

Show the obstructed pathway

Describe which root, hidden stem, structural function, or existing relation is impeded and how the pair creates that change.

If no specific mechanism is visible, keep the relation as a low-weight marker rather than inventing a story.

  • Name the affected function.
  • Allow a limited-effect result.

Resolve stronger overlapping relations

Map harmonies, clashes, punishments, breaks, triple frames, and timed contacts sharing the branches.

Compare conditions and force without assuming harm secretly overrides every visible relation.

  • Preserve all valid relations.
  • Do not privilege secrecy narratives.

Do not translate harm into victimization

Six Harm does not prove betrayal, hidden enemies, abuse, disease, injury, financial loss, secret conduct, or relationship failure.

Safety, health, legal, and relationship concerns require direct evidence and appropriate support.

  • No accusation or diagnosis.
  • No fear-based prediction.
