Useful-God Selection in Bazi Cases
Select a Useful God in a case only after naming the method, target problem, candidate evidence, operability, conflict policy, and reversal conditions.
Overview
A Useful God in a Bazi case is a selected chart function within a declared method, not a universally lucky element. First state whether the analysis is structural, balancing, climate-regulating, mediating, medicinal, circulatory, or another sourced approach. Define the problem the candidate must solve, then test presence, roots, revelation, season, access, obstruction, combination, transformation, and side effects. Compare alternatives and preserve conflicts between methods. The case should report why a candidate is selected, why others are rejected, and which evidence would reverse the choice. It must not convert the element into automatic advice about colours, industries, relationships, health, investments, or dates.
At a glance
- Method required
- Structural, balancing, climate, mediation, medicine, or flow
- Target required
- The specific formation, imbalance, blockage, or climate problem
- Operability checks
- Presence, roots, season, access, obstruction, and transformation
- Comparison
- Alternatives, side effects, conflict, and reversal conditions
- Required output
- Function and evidence rather than only an element name
- Invalid conversion
- Automatic advice about products, people, health, money, or dates
Name the method and target problem
State which Useful-God definition is being used and what it must accomplish: sustain a structure, moderate strength, regulate climate, mediate conflict, address a named illness in the model, or restore flow.
Do not compare candidates until the target is fixed. The same element can be useful under one question and irrelevant or adverse under another.
- Define function before element.
- Keep different targets separate.
Test whether the candidate can act
Record whether the candidate is present, rooted, revealed, seasonally available, accessible to the target, blocked, combined, controlled, transformed, or dependent on timing.
A theoretically suitable element that cannot operate should not be reported as an unqualified answer. Distinguish natal availability from temporary timing support.
- Assess presence and effective access.
- Separate natal and timing functions.
Compare alternatives and side effects
Test the next plausible candidate and record what each choice supports, drains, controls, or exposes. A solution to one problem may damage another structure.
When methods disagree, report parallel selections and the adopted priority. Do not hide conflict behind “favourable elements” in the plural.
- Publish rejected candidates and reasons.
- State the conflict policy.
Do not turn a chart function into a prescription
A Useful God is not evidence that every associated colour, food, city, person, job, investment, treatment, or date will help the person.
Recommendations require independent evidence, context, consent, and risk review. The case conclusion should remain a technical, revisable chart statement.
- No element-to-remedy shortcut.
- No guaranteed benefit or life decision.
