Case Method for Career Analysis in Bazi
Connect chart functions and timing to stated career questions while keeping skills, credentials, labor conditions, and real outcomes primary.
Overview
A career case starts with a specific question—role fit, work environment, transition timing, or decision process—rather than a claim that one Ten God equals one job. It evaluates structure, useful functions, resource and output pathways, wealth and officer roles, strength, and timing under a declared school. Those symbolic findings are then compared with skills, interests, credentials, access, labor conditions, and actual performance. Bazi does not establish employability, leadership, salary, promotion, dismissal, entrepreneurship, or a single destined profession.

Define one career question and decision horizon
Specify whether the case concerns capabilities, work conditions, a transition, training, or timing. Record the person’s goals and constraints.
Avoid a broad request for “the best career,” which hides tradeoffs and encourages one-symbol occupation lists.
- Use a concrete decision question.
- Record practical constraints.
Translate chart functions cautiously
Evaluate structure, useful functions, resource, output, wealth and officer pathways, and how timing contacts those pathways.
Treat these as traditional functional metaphors. Do not map Direct Officer to government, Wealth to finance, or Output to art without independent evidence.
- Explain the functional bridge.
- Reject one-to-one job mappings.
Test against skills and labor conditions
Compare the symbolic hypothesis with demonstrated skills, preferences, credentials, accessibility, compensation, demand, and workplace conditions.
Where reality conflicts with the chart story, reality governs the recommendation. Preserve uncertainty and multiple viable paths.
- Use observed performance.
- Offer alternatives, not destiny.
Do not use Bazi for hiring or employment decisions
A chart does not establish competence, reliability, leadership, salary, promotion, dismissal, disability, or protected characteristics.
Employers and individuals should use fair assessments, documented criteria, labor law, and qualified career or financial advice.
- Never screen applicants by chart.
- Do not promise employment outcomes.
