Case Method for True Follow Structures
Test true-following Bazi structures through absence of viable support, dominant flow, purity, disqualifiers, timing, and school-specific rules.
Overview
A true follow structure is a strict school-dependent classification, not a synonym for a weak Day Master. The case must identify the force being followed, prove that the Day Master lacks viable roots or rescue, demonstrate coherent dominance, and test contamination, obstruction, reversal, and transformation rules. Competing schools should be run separately because their thresholds differ. The structure does not mean obedience, dependence, destiny, or a guaranteed life pattern.

Name what the chart follows
Specify whether the proposed direction is wealth, authority, output, Resource, or another documented dominant configuration.
Trace the flow through season, roots, exposed stems, branch support, and relations. A vague claim that the chart “follows the strong side” is insufficient.
- Identify one operational target.
- Map the complete flow.
Search aggressively for contrary support
Audit every root, Resource, companion, rescue, combination, and timing-independent obstruction under the chosen school.
Record permitted residue separately from disqualifying support. Do not erase an inconvenient root because the biography seems to follow the candidate.

- Do not select by biography.
Run school rules independently
Document purity thresholds, treatment of hidden stems, combinations, climate, and false-following categories for each method.
Locate the first rule that produces disagreement and keep parallel results instead of averaging them into a hybrid structure.

The term describes a technical allocation of chart force. It does not prove submissiveness, dependence, loyalty, vocation, or social destiny.
Use timing only as conditional model interpretation and keep real decisions grounded in observed evidence.
