Ten-God Combinations in Bazi Cases
Analyse Ten-God combinations through correct reference, position, strength, sequence, structure, and timing instead of fixed personality stories.
Overview
Ten-God combinations in a case are directional relationships derived from the Day Master, not fixed personality types or literal people. Verify the Day Master and each Ten-God mapping, then record pillar location, hidden or revealed status, roots, seasonal state, strength, sequence, control, production, competition, and structural role. A phrase such as Officer generating Resource, Output generating Wealth, or Companion taking Wealth names a relationship whose formation and effect still require whole-chart evidence. Timing influences must be attributed to their layer. The case should distinguish technical function from observed behaviour and avoid substituting spouse, parent, employer, money, talent, or morality for a Ten-God label.

Verify every Ten-God mapping
Derive the Ten God from element and polarity relative to the correct Day Master. Record original stem or hidden stem, pillar, and chart layer.
Do not copy a label between charts or across a changed Day Master. Calculation errors at this step invalidate every later narrative.

Test the complete directional relation
List source, target, sequence, position, roots, season, effective strength, obstruction, competing relation, and whether the named combination can operate.
A pair of labels is not enough. Distinguish presence from functional chain, and record where the chain stops or reverses.

Place the combination inside structure and timing
Explain whether the relation forms, supports, damages, or rescues a candidate structure and whether it matches the selected useful function.

Wealth is not automatically money or spouse, Officer is not a boss or law, Resource is not a mother or degree, Output is not talent, and Companion is not a specific peer.
Use direct evidence for people, conduct, finances, work, health, and relationships. Ten-God combinations organize symbolic functions, not factual identities.
