What Is Abandoning Seal for Wealth (棄印就財) in BaZi?

Overview
Abandoning Seal for Wealth is the workbook standard name for 棄印就財. The source does not say that any chart containing Resource and Wealth should discard Resource. It first distinguishes Proper Resource in the month command from Resource placed in the year or hour: when Wealth governs the month and Resource is elsewhere, Wealth can remain the main pattern while Resource supports a Day Master capable of carrying it. The passage then treats Indirect Resource more flexibly and calls it abandoning the lighter participant for the heavier one when effective Wealth appears. Ren born in Shen month and Bing born in Yin month are its short examples; both sit in a strong Resource environment and may use Wealth in the year or hour when the Day Master can carry it. The source changes structural priority; it does not delete the Resource star
The passage begins from the old claim that Wealth can damage Resource, then immediately narrows it. If Proper Resource controls the month command, visible Wealth is a serious competing force. If Resource is in the year or hour while Wealth controls the month, the chart is read through Wealth and Resource may still help the Day Master resist or carry that Wealth.
Indirect Resource is treated as less restrictive: Wealth in the month, year or hour may allow the lighter Resource route to yield to a heavier Wealth route. “Abandon” therefore describes which line organizes the pattern. It does not remove a stem, change its Ten God or prove that Resource has no effect.
