Overview

Harmony of Siblings is the workbook’s English name for 棣萼聯芳, a botanical image for paired flourishing. Its core description gives the year and month the same stem, the day and hour another same stem, often with paired branches as well; Yin and Mao are especially praised. The passage also accepts an alternating Jia-Yi-Jia-Yi form and records related variants: Fire-class year-month with Wood-class day-hour when stems, branches and Nayin are similar, and an identical year and hour pillar such as Jia-Shen at both ends. These are transmitted variants, not one interchangeable formula and not a statement about real siblings. OpenFate does not declare this pattern.

The core form is built from two paired position groups

The year and month stems repeat one identity while the day and hour stems repeat another, described as two Jia followed by two Yi. The text says paired branches can follow the same logic and especially mentions Yin and Mao.

The plant image 棣萼 symbolizes siblings flourishing together. It is the name of the arrangement, not evidence about a user’s actual brothers or sisters.

  • Verify year-month and day-hour pairs separately.
  • Keep stem pairing, branch pairing and the literary name distinct.

Alternating, element-class and head-tail forms are source variants

The passage also includes Jia-Yi-Jia-Yi. A second variant groups Fire-class year-month with Wood-class day-hour when stems, branches and Nayin are similar; a third repeats the exact year pillar at the hour, illustrated by Jia-Shen at both ends.

These variants use different evidence. They should be labeled individually rather than merged into a loose rule that any repetition qualifies.

  • Name which source variant is being tested.
  • Show exact pillars, element classes and Nayin only where that variant requires them.

OpenFate shows the repeated fields but keeps the variants interpretive

The engine can compare stem identities, branch identities, pillar positions, elements and Nayin values.

There is no Harmony of Siblings detector. Repetition does not change family labels, relationship reports, strength, scores or saved chart data.

  • Use deterministic equality and Nayin fields without adding family facts.
  • No composite pattern, family score or report mutation.

A paired chart does not prove sibling harmony or family outcomes

The name can sound like a promise about siblings, inheritance or family solidarity. The source is describing formal resemblance in a chart, not observing real relationships.

Do not infer number of siblings, affection, conflict, inheritance, fertility, family health or future events. Use direct communication, records and qualified advice for family decisions.

  • No sibling-count, harmony, conflict or inheritance prediction.
  • No fertility, health or family-event guarantee.
