Overview

Five Elements Purity is the standard English name for 五行不雜, a San Ming Tong Hui configuration in which the Day is primary, Hour marks the field, Month is the root, and Year represents the foundation, while each returns to a compatible Lu or Horse domain without punishment or harm. The worked chart Xin Chou, Xin Chou, Gui Si, Ding Si uses a Metal–Water generating route and repeated branch domains. “Unmixed” does not mean that only one element appears or that mixed charts are impure, and it does not guarantee office, clarity, morality, status, or success.

The source defines a coherent pillar route, not elemental minimalism

The passage assigns distinct roles to Day, Hour, Month, and Year and asks whether each returns to its Lu or Horse domain without punishment or harm. Its chart is Xin Chou, Xin Chou, Gui Si, Ding Si: the Heavenly Stems follow a Metal-generates-Water route, while two Chou and two Si are interpreted within the same Metal field.

Several elements still appear in the chart. Therefore 不雜 means that the adopted structural route is not confused or mutually damaging; it does not mean deleting four elements, maximizing one element, or judging a person as pure.

  • Preserve the source’s pillar roles and Lu–Horse route.
  • Distinguish structural coherence from a one-element count.

Generation, domain alignment, strength, and lack of damage all need evidence

The Day Master and authority relation must both be viable in the source example. The stem-generating chain, repeated branch domains, seasonal strength, hidden stems, and the chosen meaning of Lu and Horse must form one coherent account.

Punishment, harm, clash, incompatible combination, weak qi, or an unrelated dominant structure may interrupt the route. A visually tidy chart, repeated characters, or a low count of elements is not sufficient.

  • Document pillar roles, element flow, strength, and Lu–Horse identity.
  • Check punishment, harm, clash, combination, and structural precedence.

OpenFate does not grade charts for elemental purity

OpenFate can calculate pillars, elements, Ten Gods, hidden stems, strength, Lu Shen, Travel Horse, punishments, and harms. It does not aggregate them into a Five Elements Purity result or rank users by purity.

Automation would require a fixed definition of each pillar role, the intended Lu and Horse system, domain alignment, damage precedence, counterexamples, and wording that avoids moral judgment. The Wiki remains a source guide, not a purity metric.

  • Do not infer the pattern from a simple element histogram.
  • Never turn structural terminology into a human purity score.

“Unmixed” is not a judgment of character, ethnicity, or worth

Five Elements Purity does not prove honesty, intelligence, loyalty, health, ancestry, ethnicity, social suitability, office, career, wealth, or success. A mixed chart is not dirty, defective, or inferior.

Do not use the term in hiring, relationships, education, health, identity, or eligibility decisions. Describe the specific chart relations and uncertainty without assigning moral or biological value.

  • Exclude moral, biological, identity, office, and success claims.
  • Use neutral structural language and direct evidence for real decisions.
