What Is Clear Source, Turbid Flow (源清流濁) in BaZi?

Overview
Clear Source, Turbid Flow is the workbook’s English name for 源清流濁. The passage treats year-month as the source and day-hour as the downstream flow. A governing useful relation is connected, strong and supported in the earlier positions but becomes weak, defeated, dead or extinct when led into day-hour, or later luck no longer supports it. This is a comparison of the same functional relation across positions and timing layers, not a rule that every year-month symbol means childhood or every hour symbol predicts old age.
