What Is Noble Purity Entering the Hall (清貴入堂) in BaZi?
Learn the Yi–Ding–Xin with Horse and Ding–Xin–Gui with Rooster sets, the Ji-You example, three arched branches and product limits.
Overview
Noble Purity Entering the Hall is the workbook’s English name for 清貴入堂. Its verse says Yi, Ding and Xin meet Horse, meaning the Wu branch, while Ding, Xin and Gui turn toward Rooster, meaning You. The cited chart Ji-You, Yi-Hai, Gui-Chou and Yi-Mao uses Gui with You and is also called a Hidden-Combination Three Wonders arrangement. Its visible branch sequence arches the missing Xu, Zi and Yin, which the source labels Officer, Lu and Wealth. The compact passage does not define a full position, direction, conflict or synthetic-branch policy for every case. OpenFate does not create those missing branches or detect Noble Purity Entering the Hall.

The verse records two stem-to-branch sets
One set links Yi, Ding and Xin with Wu; the other links Ding, Xin and Gui with You. A responsible reading identifies the exact reference stem, branch and position used by its school.
The verse alone does not say every occurrence of those characters qualifies, or whether Wu and You may appear at any pillar.
- Name the selected stem set and actual branch.
- Do not generalize an unstated position policy.
The cited chart adds hidden arches as a separate evidence route
Ji-You, Yi-Hai, Gui-Chou and Yi-Mao places Gui Day with You in the chart. Between You–Hai, Hai–Chou and Chou–Mao lie Xu, Zi and Yin.
The source labels those missing branches Officer, Lu and Wealth. They remain arched interpretations, not actual natal pillars or universally available Ten-God objects.
- Show visible branches before the three missing intervals.
- Label arched branches without converting them into natal data.
OpenFate does not materialize the three arched branches
The product can retain the actual four pillars and implemented stem, branch, Lu and combination evidence.
There is no Noble Purity Entering the Hall detector. No Xu, Zi or Yin pillar, virtual Officer or Wealth, rank score, report field or saved value is added.
- Keep visible and arched evidence distinct.
- No virtual branches, role objects or report mutation.
Purity and entering a hall cannot prove status or character
The verse uses court-office and brocade language. These historical values do not establish a person’s character or modern outcome.
Do not infer purity, morality, office, promotion, elite access, clothing, income, wealth, relationships, health, safety or lifespan.
- No purity, office, promotion, access or wealth guarantee.
- No relationship, health, safety or lifespan prediction.
