Overview

Six Yi Rat Noble is the standard English name for 六乙鼠貴. The principal rule requires one of the six Yi days and a Bing-Zi hour: Zi is the “rat,” while Bing is interpreted as remotely connecting through Si and Shen to the absent Geng Officer used by Yi. This chain is classical commentary, not generated chart data. Wu can clash Zi, Chou can bind it, Mao can punish a single Zi, and visible Geng-Shen or Xin-You changes the hidden-official premise; the source also distinguishes one Zi from multiple Zi, calling repetition “gathered nobles” in some examples. Summer, autumn and seasonal-earth months may instead be judged through ordinary Hurting Officer, Officer, Wealth or Resource structures. OpenFate calculates the visible conditions but does not output Six Yi Rat Noble.

The full gate is a Yi day with a Bing-Zi hour

The old text says to use the rat rather than the monkey: Zi is the visible anchor, while Shen and its Geng Officer are part of the remote explanatory chain. Bing-Zi must be matched as an hour pillar; a random Zi elsewhere is insufficient.

Neither Shen nor Geng is inserted into the natal chart. If the Officer is already visible, the interpretation must return to direct Ten-God and month-command evidence.

  • Require Yi Day Master and Bing-Zi hour together.
  • Keep remote Shen-Geng separate from visible chart data.

A single Zi and repeated Zi have different transmitted rules

For one Zi, the passage warns about Wu clash, Chou binding and Mao punishment. It also presents multiple Zi as a “gathered nobles” variant and supplies interleaved examples where the ordinary simple blockers do not apply mechanically.

Visible Geng-Shen, Xin-You and strong seasonal structures can redirect the analysis. The source explicitly judges summer through Hurting Officer, some autumn cases through Officer, and seasonal-earth months through Wealth storage, so the rare name never overrides a clearer ordinary structure.

  • Separate single-Zi and repeated-Zi states.
  • Let month command and direct Officer evidence take precedence.

OpenFate calculates the gate but does not create a Noble result

OpenFate can identify six Yi Day Pillars, Bing-Zi hour, Zi count, Wu, Chou, Mao, Geng-Shen and Xin-You, plus punishments, clashes, combinations, Ten Gods and month-command patterns.

It does not generate Shen or Geng and does not output Six Yi Rat Noble. Implementation would need separate single- and multi-Zi logic, visibility and blocker states, seasonal precedence and source-tested examples without changing saved reports.

  • Keep the pattern unclassified until every strict gate is encoded.

Noble is a technical image, not promised social status

The word “Noble” does not prove official rank, privilege, wealth, education, recognition, health, lifespan or a favorable future. Historical poems are not empirical forecasts.

Do not use the pattern for employment, investing, legal, relationship, medical or safety choices. Base those decisions on relevant evidence and qualified help.

  • Exclude rank, wealth and timing promises.
  • Present the material as cultural interpretation only.
