Overview

Fortune Breaker is the workbook English name for 破財. Here the Chinese term does not mean an ordinary prediction of losing money; it names a rare method that uses a branch break to seek absent Wealth. The source begins with a chart lacking visible Wealth and Officer. Yi-Mao seeks Ji Earth in Wu or Wei and needs Yin or Xu to retain it; Geng-Shen and Xin-You seek Wood through the Yin-Mao-Chen side; Bing-Wu and Ding-Wei seek Metal through You-Xu; Ren-Zi and Gui-Chou seek Fire through Si-Wu. The listed day pillars are treated as self-supported Lu or Blade days able to carry the route. Visible Wealth, a filled target, Rob Wealth interference, weak Day-Master support or a clearer ordinary pattern displaces it. OpenFate has no Fortune Breaker detector.

The passage gives several fixed Day-Pillar and Wealth-target groups

Yi-Mao uses Mao to break toward Wu or Wei and hidden Ji Earth, with Yin or Xu used to retain the Wealth relation. The passage then groups Geng-Shen and Xin-You toward Wood, Bing-Wu and Ding-Wei toward Metal, and Ren-Zi and Gui-Chou toward Fire.

These are named examples with different Ten-God targets. They cannot be collapsed into “any branch break produces money,” and the absent counterpart must not be inserted into the calculated chart.

  • Match the Day Pillar to its source-defined Wealth group.
  • Keep the remote target outside deterministic pillar data.

Strength, retention and an unfilled target are part of the premise

The text justifies the listed days through Day Lu or Blade strength. It explicitly questions whether a weak Day Master could take externally sought Wealth, so strength is a gate rather than a guaranteed benefit.

Visible Wealth, a filled Wealth position, Rob Wealth interference or loss of the branch used to break or retain the target displaces the route. A clear month-command Wealth or other ordinary pattern must be interpreted first.

  • Do not ignore the source strength limitation.
  • Separate break, retention, filling and competition states.

OpenFate shows real Wealth and break relations but does not infer the route

OpenFate calculates Day Pillars, branch breaks, combinations, hidden stems, Wealth and Rob Wealth, month command and strength evidence.

It does not generate absent counterparts or output Fortune Breaker. Safe support requires a reviewed route matrix, retention rules, strength policy, filling states and negative examples. Existing report and user behavior is preserved.

  • Do not overwrite visible Ten-God evidence with the rare label.
  • Keep detection off until every route has tested boundaries.

破財 here is not a forecast of loss or a promise of windfall

The historical pattern name can be misread in modern Chinese. It neither predicts that money will be lost nor proves that unexpected wealth will arrive.

Do not use it for spending, investing, borrowing, insurance, employment or legal choices. Financial decisions require verified numbers and qualified advice.

  • State the naming ambiguity prominently.
  • Exclude loss, windfall and investment timing claims.
