Gou Chen in Position is the standard English name for 勾陳得位. The classical passage associates central Earth with Gou Chen and lists seven day pillars: Wu-Yin, Wu-Chen, Wu-Zi, Wu-Shen, Ji-Mao, Ji-Hai and Ji-Wei. A matching Wu or Ji Earth day must still have enough support; an Officer route requires timely Officer qi, while a Wealth route requires timely Wealth qi. Hurting Officer, Rob Wealth, clashes, punishments and excessive Killing are named damage conditions. The source names Wu-Yin, Wu-Chen, Wu-Zi, Wu-Shen, Ji-Mao, Ji-Hai and Ji-Wei. A different Wu or Ji day is not added merely because Wealth, Officer or Resource appears elsewhere.
