What Is Daily Noble (日貴) in BaZi?
Learn the four Daily Noble pillars, day-versus-night refinement, supporting combinations, blockers and the difference from a general Tian Yi Noble hit.
Overview
Daily Noble is the standard English name for 日貴. The cited rule is an exact four-day allowlist: Ding-You, Ding-Hai, Gui-Si and Gui-Mao. In each case, the Day Master sits on one of its own Tian Yi Nobleman branches, so a Noble marker elsewhere in the chart is not enough. The source further prefers Gui-Mao and Ding-Hai for daytime births and Gui-Si and Ding-You for nighttime births, then checks combinations, Wealth, Food, Resource and whether punishment, clash, break, harm, void, Killing, Blade or Kui Gang disrupts the route. OpenFate calculates the Day Pillar and Tian Yi Nobleman location but has no Daily Noble composite detector or outcome guarantee.

Daily Noble is limited to four complete Day Pillars
For Ding, You and Hai are Tian Yi Noble branches; for Gui, Si and Mao are the corresponding pair. Daily Noble selects the four Day Pillars in which Ding or Gui is seated directly on one of those branches.
A Tian Yi Nobleman in the Year, Month or Hour Pillar remains a normal Noble marker but does not become Daily Noble. Likewise, the right branch paired with a different Day Stem is outside this rule.

Day and night refine the route instead of adding more pillars
The source associates daytime with Gui-Mao and Ding-Hai, and nighttime with Gui-Si and Ding-You. This is a refinement inside the four-day set, not permission to classify every Tian Yi Noble birth by clock time.
After that refinement, the chart still needs ordinary review. Three or Six combinations, Wealth, Food and Resource may support the route; punishment, clash, break, harm, void, Killing, Blade or Kui Gang may weaken or redirect it.

The engine calculates the exact Day Pillar and maps Tian Yi Nobleman from the Day Stem to its two branches. It can therefore show whether the Noble target occurs in the Day Pillar and display actual interactions around it.
It does not output a Daily Noble pattern, apply the classical day/night preference or turn the match into a score. A future detector would need the four-day allowlist, verified local birth-time boundary, blockers, support and ordinary-pattern override tests.

Daily Noble does not prove beauty, virtue, privilege or lifespan
Historical sources attach appearance, moral, rank, wealth and lifespan statements to Daily Noble. Those claims reflect old interpretive conventions and are not reliable personal facts.
The pattern cannot determine character, attractiveness, social class, help from powerful people, poverty, early death or any life outcome. Consequential decisions require present evidence and professional guidance.
