Overview

Sequential Four Pillars is the workbook’s English name for 四柱順布. The entire source rule says that Hour follows Day, Day follows Month and Month follows Year, with the before-and-after order undisturbed. Read from Year to Hour, the intended direction is therefore Year → Month → Day → Hour. The sentence supports a sequence test across four actual pillars, but gives no chart example, numeric distance, cycle-wrap convention, treatment of duplicates or alternative school table. OpenFate does not claim an automatic verdict from this under-specified line. It preserves the four actual pillars and requires any future detector to declare its exact sexagenary-order policy first.

The source fixes direction across the four real pillars

Its phrase “Hour follows Day, Day follows Month, Month follows Year” establishes a Year-to-Hour reading direction and rejects a scrambled order.

Each compared value must be the complete sexagenary identity of its actual pillar. Matching only stems, branches or elements is a different test.

  • Read Year → Month → Day → Hour.
  • Compare complete pillars rather than isolated attributes.

One sentence cannot supply every adjacency policy

The entry has no example showing whether each pillar must be immediately next, how a Gui-to-Jia wrap works, or whether a repeated pillar breaks the sequence.

A school may document a reproducible convention, but it must be labelled as that school’s policy rather than inserted into the source text.

  • Declare distance, wrap and duplicate rules before classification.
  • Keep unsupported cases unclassified.

OpenFate does not turn a short gloss into hidden engine logic

The product preserves the Year, Month, Day and Hour pillars produced by the existing deterministic chart engine.

There is no Sequential Four Pillars detector. No pillar is reordered, normalized or replaced, and no score, report or saved chart changes.

  • Keep the calculated four-pillar order unchanged.
  • No reorder, synthetic adjacency or report mutation.

An orderly chart does not prove an orderly life

The name describes a formal arrangement, not a validated measure of personality, discipline or future events.

Do not infer intelligence, morality, career progress, income, rank, relationships, safety, mental health, physical health or lifespan.

  • No personality, discipline, career or rank conclusion.
  • No relationship, mental-health, physical-health or lifespan prediction.
