Overview

Fortune Convergence is the workbook’s English name for 集福發福. The short entry in Book Six points back to an earlier two-way framework: “the four positions gather fortune at the Emperor Seat,” or “the Emperor Seat distributes fortune to the four positions.” The earlier passage identifies the Emperor Seat with the Hour. In the inward route, prosperous Nayin qi from Year, Month, Day and Hour, or their Lu, fortune and noble qi, gathers at the Hour. In the outward route, prosperous or refined qi is revealed from the Hour and distributed among the other positions, which must themselves receive compatible auspicious qi. The text gives Ren-Zi, Ren-Zi, Yi-You, Ding-Chou and Wu-Yin, Jia-Yin, Ren-Yin, Wu-Shen as examples. OpenFate does not turn this historical model into a fortune or wealth score.

Gathering at the Hour and distributing from the Hour are opposite routes

The inward route asks how favorable or prosperous evidence from all four positions converges at the Hour. The outward route begins with Hour qi and follows it into the other positions.

The routes should not be blended into “many good markers.” Each requires a direction, a named evidence type and a link between Hour and the other pillars.

  • State whether evidence moves toward or away from the Hour.
  • Name each contributing position and qi layer.

The Hour is emphasized without making the other pillars irrelevant

The earlier discussion says all four pillars matter while treating the Hour as especially important. Nayin prosperity, Lu and auspicious or noble markers are examples of source evidence.

Breakage at the Hour, incompatible qi or unsupported markers remain counterevidence. One favorable star or a strong Hour Stem alone cannot establish the two-way framework.

  • Audit all four pillars and the Hour connection.
  • Show breakage, incompatibility and unsupported markers.

OpenFate preserves individual evidence instead of manufacturing fortune

The product can display four pillars and any Nayin, Lu or other markers already implemented under their own definitions.

There is no Fortune Convergence detector. No Emperor-Seat field, fortune score, wealth score or report conclusion is added to charts or saved data.

  • Keep each marker traceable to its own rule.
  • No synthetic fortune, wealth, status or report field.

Auspicious convergence cannot guarantee fortune or character

The source associates the two routes with loyal character, intelligence, office and fortune. Those descriptions are not validated personality or outcome measures.

Do not infer honesty, intelligence, promotion, wealth, career success, family outcomes, health or lifespan. Use observable evidence for real decisions.

  • No honesty, intelligence, rank, promotion or wealth guarantee.
  • No family, health, safety or lifespan prediction.
