Overview

Life-Gathering from the Source is the standard English name for 生處聚生. The classical definition combines two conditions: Resource generates the Day Master, and the chart also leads the Day Stem toward its Growth position. An Officer relation may strengthen the traditional assessment, while a component that controls or damages Resource is a named blocker. The source gives Yi-Mao, Ding-Hai, Bing-Yin and Geng-Yin as a complete four-pillar example of Wood generating Fire and leading the Day Master toward growth. This is more specific than simply seeing Resource or a Growth marker. OpenFate calculates the components but does not declare the pattern.

Resource support and a Growth route must appear together

Resource generating Self is the first layer. The second is an actual route that brings or leads the Day Stem to its Growth branch. Either component alone is a broader ordinary chart fact, not this complete classical name.

The worked chart illustrates Wood generating Fire while the Day Master reaches a growth-supporting position. It is an example of the logic, not a template requiring those same four pillars.

  • Show the Resource-to-Self generation relation.
  • Identify the exact Day Stem Growth branch and where it appears.

Officer may add support, while damage to Resource breaks the route

The source values an accompanying Officer, but Resource remains the central supporting link. If Resource is controlled, depleted or unable to reach the Day Master, the pattern name cannot hide that failure.

Month Command, roots, combinations and competing Ten Gods still matter. The reading must show both the supportive chain and every break in it.

  • Audit the complete generation chain and its locations.
  • Display Resource damage and other counterevidence.

OpenFate calculates Resource and Growth without a composite pattern flag

The engine exposes Ten Gods, hidden stems, Twelve Life Stages, roots, Month Command and interactions needed to review the route.

There is no Life-Gathering from the Source detector. Resource or Growth markers remain component evidence and do not alter a report, score or stored chart.

  • Use deterministic components as a visible audit trail.
  • No hidden composite flag or product mutation.

Gathering life does not measure health, lifespan or social worth

The classical verse links the pattern with high rank and enduring fortune. Its language belongs to a historical social model, not a validated measure of health or worth.

Do not promise office, prosperity, health or longevity and do not rank people by this pattern. Career, financial and medical decisions require current facts and qualified advice.

  • No office, prosperity or social-rank guarantee.
  • No health, longevity or human-worth judgment.
