What Is Unchecked Warlord (專殺無制) in BaZi?
Learn when effective Seven Killing lacks control or transformation, how Day-Master capacity changes the reading, and what OpenFate detects.
Overview
Unchecked Warlord is the workbook standard English name for 專殺無制, a classical Seven Killing condition that must not be inferred from the mere appearance of Seven Killing. The source contrasts a strong, supported Day Master receiving lighter Killing with a weak or rootless Day Master under heavier Killing, then asks whether Eating God or Hurting Officer control, rooted Resource transformation, combination or another effective mediation route is present. “Unchecked” therefore requires usable Killing, insufficient capacity and no effective control or transformation. OpenFate exposes a bounded Unmediated Killing V1 signal, but that signal does not certify every classical condition or predict danger, illness, violence, rank or an event.

The source begins with effective Killing and Day-Master capacity, not a keyword count
Seven Killing is the same-polarity power star that controls the Day Master. It can be exposed on a stem or supported through a branch, but a rootless, out-of-season, combined-away or heavily damaged signal may not be strong enough to lead the chart. The classical label therefore starts only after the Killing has usable force.
The passage contrasts “strong body, shallow Killing” with “heavy Killing, light body.” That comparison is structural rather than moral: season, roots, Resource, Companion support and the Killing’s own source determine whether the Day Master can receive the pressure. A single Seven Killing symbol cannot establish the pattern.

Eating God or Hurting Officer can control Seven Killing only when the controlling Output is supported, positioned to act and not neutralized. Rooted Resource can transform Killing into a support channel only when the Resource has a viable root and is not destroyed by excessive Wealth. Combination and other redirects must likewise name their participants and result.
If a mediation star appears but is weak, remote, contested or damaged, the condition may remain unresolved. Conversely, a chart with a clear control or transformation route should not be called “unchecked” merely because Seven Killing is strong. Timing must recalculate the same participants rather than repeating the natal label.

OpenFate currently marks Unmediated Killing when effective Seven Killing is present and no formed or contested Hurting Officer control, Eating God control or rooted-Resource transformation is found by the V1 structure layer. The engine also exposes Day-Master strength and root evidence separately.
That implementation is intentionally narrower than a complete school-level judgement: it does not by itself prove “exclusive Killing,” exhaust every combination route or settle all hidden-stem and timing disputes. Read the evidence status, participants and blockers together. This article does not alter chart calculations, reports or saved results.
