Overview

Heavenly Stem Sitting on Wealth is the workbook standard English name for 天元坐財. Tian Yuan here refers to the Day Stem or Day Master, and “sitting” directs attention to the Day Branch beneath it. The source lists Geng-Chen and Xin-Mao in spring, Jia-Wu, Yi-Wei and Jia-Chen in summer, and Bing-Xu and Ding-Chou in autumn, because the branch contains or supports the Day Master’s Wealth element under those seasonal conditions. It separately notes Ren-Wu and Gui-Si as Lu and Wealth sharing a palace, so they should not be classified by Wealth alone. Presence is not enough: hidden-stem identity, season, Resource support, Output production, Companion competition and Day-Master capacity all matter. OpenFate has no dedicated detector for this label.

The source ties complete day pillars to Wealth hidden or rooted beneath the Day Master

For Metal Day Masters, Wood is Wealth: Mao is pure Yi Wood, while Chen stores Yi. For Wood Day Masters, Earth is Wealth: Wu stores Ji, Wei stores Ji and Chen stores Wu. For Fire Day Masters, Metal is Wealth: Xu and Chou both store Xin. The source pairs these pillars with seasons that give the Wealth element usable context.

This is not a list of every day branch containing any Wealth stem. It is a compact classical selection with explicit seasonal conditions. Ren-Wu and Gui-Si are named as Lu and Wealth sharing a palace and are not judged solely through this heading, showing that overlapping structures can change the primary classification.

  • Read the complete day pillar and hidden stems, not the branch name alone.
  • Keep the source’s seasonal examples and overlapping-pattern exception visible.

Seasonal Wealth still needs a Day Master capable of carrying it

The source favors Resource that supports a weak Day Master and Output that can feed Wealth, while warning about Companion or Rob-Wealth competition. These are participant relationships, not fixed good-or-bad labels. Their effective force depends on roots, season, position and combinations.

A day branch can contain Wealth yet contribute little when the hidden stem is weak or damaged. Conversely, strong Wealth may overdrain an unsupported Day Master. The result therefore needs separate fields for the day-pillar match, Wealth effectiveness, Day-Master capacity and actual interaction outcomes.

  • Confirm hidden Wealth and its seasonal force before assigning the label.
  • Evaluate Resource, Output and competition in relation to Day-Master capacity.

OpenFate calculates the day-pillar evidence but does not publish this aggregate label

OpenFate calculates the sexagenary day pillar, hidden stems, Ten Gods, seasonal strength, roots and interactions. It can therefore show every participant in the listed examples and distinguish exposed from hidden Wealth.

It does not currently label Heavenly Stem Sitting on Wealth. A future detector would require an explicit source-version table, seasonal conditions, hidden-stem weighting, the Ren-Wu and Gui-Si exception, strength and interaction rules, and regression tests. This article does not change existing calculations.

  • Use the existing day-pillar and participant fields as auditable evidence.
  • Do not infer a pattern badge from a single hidden Wealth stem.

Sitting on Wealth does not guarantee money, a spouse or business skill

The historical label does not prove income, savings, property, inheritance, entrepreneurship, financial judgment, marriage quality, a wealthy partner or social rank. “Wealth” is a Ten-God relationship, not a bank-account measurement.

Investment, employment, partnership and relationship decisions require current evidence, consent and qualified advice. Do not profile a person’s motives or take financial risk because of a day-pillar label.

  • Exclude money, spouse, rank and business-ability guarantees.
  • Keep symbolic relationships separate from verified financial facts.
