What Is Dedicated Wealth (專財) in BaZi?
Learn the two source-defined Dedicated Wealth day-hour families, their different mechanisms, strength conditions, damaging factors and OpenFate limits.
Overview
Dedicated Wealth is the workbook standard English name for 專財. In San Ming Tong Hui it is not a generic chart with abundant Wealth. The passage gives two narrow day-hour families: a Bing day meeting a Bing-Shen hour, explained through Bing, Si, Shen and Geng Metal Wealth; and a Jia day meeting a Ji-Si hour, where Ji Earth is Jia Wood’s Proper Wealth. The first uses an old induced-branch explanation involving Bing’s lu at Si and the Si-Shen relation, while the second is a direct stem-level Wealth pairing. Both still require the Day Master and Wealth to be able to function, and the source distinguishes Wood-season and Earth-season support. Hurting Officer, peer competition and damage to the relevant lu or relation can break the construction. OpenFate calculates the pillars and participants but has no dedicated detector for this historical label.

The source names two specific day-hour constructions rather than a general Wealth category
The first family is a Bing day at a Bing-Shen hour. The text says Bing has lu at Si, then uses the relation between Si and Shen to bring out Geng Metal, which is Wealth to Bing Fire; the repeated Bing stems are part of the name’s explanation. This is transmitted special-pattern logic and should not be replaced with the modern shortcut “Bing sits on Shen, therefore Dedicated Wealth.”
The second family is a Jia day at a Ji-Si hour. Ji Earth on the hour stem is Proper Wealth to Jia Wood. The passage then requires both body and Wealth to be strong: a chart born in a Wood-prosperous month benefits from sufficient Earth, while one born in an Earth-prosperous month benefits from sufficient Wood. The two families share a heading but do not share one identical mechanism.

Eligibility does not replace the strength, season and damage review
The source favors an operative Wealth signal that the Day Master can carry. Seasonal command, roots, hidden stems, exposure and supporting elements decide whether either side has usable force. A valid day-hour pair with an exhausted Day Master or ineffective Wealth is only a formal match.
Hurting Officer, Rob Wealth or peer competition, clashes, punishments and damage to the relevant lu or Si-Shen relation are listed as adverse. These factors must be tied to actual participants and outcomes; their mere presence elsewhere in the chart does not automatically cancel the construction.

The current product does not output Dedicated Wealth. A reviewed detector would need the two-family table, the historical induced-branch policy, strength thresholds, damage rules, timing separation and negative fixtures. This article does not change any existing chart, report or saved user result.

Dedicated Wealth does not guarantee money, office, longevity or financial skill
The source verse promises wealth, rank and long life in period-specific language. The day-hour construction cannot prove income, savings, property, business success, promotion, examination results, lifespan, generosity or financial judgment.
Investment, employment and business decisions require verified finances, contracts, risk controls and qualified advice. Never borrow, invest or sell a guaranteed outcome because a birth chart matches one of these historical pairs.
